Jeb Bush Campaigns For Arkansas GOP Hopeful Asa Hutchinson

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush is praising fellow Republican Asa Hutchinson's proposal to expand computer science classes in Arkansas schools as the potential 2016 White House hopeful campaigned for Hutchinson's gubernatorial bid.

Hutchinson and Bush toured a Sherwood charter school Tuesday and saw demonstrations of students' science projects. Bush also planned to headline a fundraiser for Hutchinson, who's running against Democratic nominee and fellow ex-congressman Mike Ross.

The two are running to succeed Democratic Gov. Mike Beebe, who is barred by term limits from seeking re-election.

Bush praised Hutchinson's education proposals, though the two remain far apart on some issues. Bush has been a supporter of the Common Core education standards and of school vouchers. Hutchinson has said he wants to review Common Core and doesn't support the vouchers.
