Harmony

A study of singers by Björn Vickhoff of the University of Gothenburg indicates that as choral singers harmonize, their breathing and heartbeats synchronize in time with the music, creating a rewarding feeling of oneness, and that “songs with long phrases achieve the same effect as breathing exercises in yoga.”  He says that such group singing “harmonizes your hearts.”
