Featured documentary artist James Matthews, through his exhibition Eviction Quilts, documents clothing and bedding left on a curbside from Little Rock evictions. Each quilt represents a single eviction and serves as a sort of material archive, showing personal and physical loss of the eviction, while also transforming the fragments into something that speaks to function and comfort. Eviction Quilts runs from Thursday, June 27, 10 am - Wednesday, August 28, 4:00 pm. An opening reception will occur on Thursday, June 27, 5-7 p.m. The reception is free and open to the public.
