(LITTLE ROCK, ARKANSAS) The Central Arkansas Spanish Spelling Bee is slated to take place on Saturday, October,16, 2021 and will be the first of its kind in the region. Participants must be in grades 4th-8th and live in Pulaski, Saline, Lonoke, or Faulkner County. All competitors will be recognized for participation, and awards will be given for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. Transportation and registration costs will be covered for the 1st place winner and one adult to go to the 2022 national competition. This competition is for native English and Spanish speakers. Only 25 participants will be accepted. Registration ends September 1, 2021 and can be completed online at tashateachesspanish.com. Participation is free.
