The Nonprofit Board Institute (NPBI) is a five-week training session that provides leadership insights and board training to community and League members. The program, provided by subject matter experts, facilitates opportunities to develop board readiness for both emerging and current community leaders. Graduates of the Institute may also connect with organizations as potential board members for any future board appointments and opportunities. The NPBI directly aligns with JLLR’s Mission of training effective volunteers to improve the community.

Our Fall Institute consists of five (5) 2-hour sessions every Tuesday evening from 5:30 pm - 8:00 pm. For those attending in-person, dinner will be served 5:30-6pm with the programming kicking off at 6pm.

The topics to be covered during this year's institute include:
September 13th: Board Basics: Roles & Responsibilities
September 20th: Mission & Vision
September 27th: Legal & Fiduciary Responsibilities
October 4th: Resource Development & Allocation
October 11th: Graduation (for those that have attended all four weeks)

Pricing for individuals, organizations and single NPBI sessions are as follows:

• $150 for full 5-week NPBI Fall Institute
• $100 for full 5-week NPBI Fall Institute for members of all other Junior Leagues (AJLI)
• $85 for full 5-week NPBI Fall Institute for Junior League of Little Rock members only
• $45 for one individual NPBI session (excludes Graduation on October 11th)
