Historian John Kirk On Little Rock's Long Desegregation Crisis

This month marks the 58th anniversary of the Little Rock Nine’s integration of Little Rock’s Central High School.

KUAR spoke with University of Arkansas at Little Rock’s Race and Ethnicity Institute director and historian John Kirk. He said a long desegregation crisis preceded and followed federal troops' presence in Little Rock.
