Rapper From Little Rock Mass Shooting Facing Federal Firearms Charge

Federal prosecutors say a rapper shot someone in the neck while leaving a different Arkansas club just days before headlining a Little Rock concert where a shooting left 28 people injured.

The U.S. Attorney's Office for the Eastern District of Arkansas said Monday that a complaint has been filed against 25-year-old, also known as Finese2Tymes, for being a felon in possession of a firearm.

U.S. Attorney's Office spokeswoman Paulette Chappelle says the Memphis, Tennessee, rapper pointed and fired an "AK-style pistol" at someone in a vehicle he believed was blocking his way on June 25 as Hampton was trying to drive away from a club in Forrest City, Arkansas.

The shooting that left 28 people hurt happened Saturday at Little Rock's Power Ultra Lounge.
