Arts Scene: Arkansas Chamber Singers And Norwood Creech

blog.arkansas.com

Part 1:

The Arkansas Chamber Singers has given its Christmas Concerts recently in the Old State House Museum, a setting not only artistically, but more importantly, acoustically satisfying, so satisfying that it bids fair to becoming a tradition. John Erwin, director of Choral Studies at UCA in Conway, is the artistic director and conductor of the Chamber Singers, and gives details of the program as well as the theme for the 2015-16 season.

Part 2:

Out of the silence of the delta comes my second guest today, artist Norwood Creech, who hails from Lepanto, some of whose paintings of the delta in northeast Arkansas are up at Drawl Southern Contemporary Art in Little Rock's Heights neighborhood. She paints as she feels, and in the following interview, tells it as only she can, in words as colorful as her paintings.
