There are a lot of odds and ends as well as deep dives into Arkansas politics we can't always squeeze on the radio waves. With a nod toward political junkies KUAR is gradually rolling out its Arkansas Politics Blog.
You can expect to find expanded web versions of stories you hear on our newscasts, links and story highlights from elsewhere relevant to Arkansas, and a style of presentation that simply can't be manifested on the radio.
As always our primary focus is serving our tens of thousands of dedicated listeners but we always have more we can add. Arkansas Politics Blog is a place where we can begin to share even more of that information.
It's a state holiday and I've got the day off courtesy of News Director Michael Hibblen filling in during All Things Considered this afternoon. Luckily, being off work today gives me some time to start this blog.
Over the next few weeks we'll all get a better idea of what this blog is offering and shaping up to be. We hope you enjoy it and will help steer its growth. For now, we're excited to share more Arkansas political coverage with a less formal voice.
