Our topic today is Standardized Patients. Most of us have never heard of the term, much less what it might mean. It has been around in one form or another for quite some time in the training of our medical professionals, but has become a vital and essential element in proper medical education. In fact, your provider or specialist no doubt used standardized patients in his or her training....just ask them next time you go in. For now, give a listen and be amazed at this little known element.
