The top story this week: Gov. Asa Hutchinson lays out a seven-point plan to continue the state's participation in the Medicaid expansion through the private option, though officials also resume sending cancellation notices to those who didn't respond to verification request.

The KUAR news staff also discusses the state's inmate population reaching an all-time high, while legislators consider ways to reduce the population, ongoing planning for a new school district in Jacksonville before a desegregation judge, and firm dates being announced for when economic development officials expect to learn if Arkansas gets a major military contract.
