Located at the western edge of Little Rock, Pinnacle Mountain State Park is well-known for its challenging hikes and great views.

However, many people are unaware that the park also has short easy walking paths, two mountain biking trails, an arboretum, and multiple options for scenic floats.

It serves as one end of the 223-mile Ouachita Trail.

The Rabbit Ridge and Jack Fork mountain biking trails are located near the Visitors Center.

For floats, you can access the Little Maumelle from the far-end of the west summit parking lot. If you have the time and energy, you can float from here all the way to Two Rivers Park.

There is also a boat launch on the Maumelle River near the Visitors Center off of Pinnacle Valley Rd.
