Federal prosecutors say a former Garland County sheriff's deputy has pleaded guilty to a prostitution-related charge.
The U.S. Attorney's Office in the Western District of Arkansas says 39-year-old Neil Parliment pleaded guilty on Monday to a one-count information for arranging for a minor to travel to Hot Springs to engage in prostitution.
Court documents say Parliment paid a girl for sex and arranged for her to have sex with others for money.
Court documents say the girl ran away from a foster home near Boston. Parliment will be sentenced at a later date.
Federal prosecutors say he could face up to 20 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
Parliment's attorney, Timothy Clay Janske, didn't respond to a phone message left on Monday.
