There is a move by some legislators to include a ban on monitor games by the Arkansas lottery if there is a special session called this summer.
A special session is a possibility so legislators can address health insurance plans for public school employees. But Gov. Mike Beebe's office said Friday that he's still waiting to see a proposal on the insurance matter and that no one has discussed the lottery issue with him yet.
Republican state Sen. Jimmy Hickey of Texarkana has asked lottery Director Bishop Woosley to delay the start of a planned Keno game until legislators can evaluate it in next year's special session.
Woosley said Friday he's still planning to launch Keno games in September but will change that plan if legislators approve a ban.
