Search Continues For Arkansas Man And Infant Son

Search crews resumed their efforts on Tuesday to find a man and his infant son reported missing in the Ouachita Mountains late last week.

Brian Floyd, 31, and Harper Floyd, 10 months old, have been missing since Friday. The truck they were in was found Monday near Blue Mountain Lake.

Brian Floyd's wife, Brooke, was found along a remote road Friday, "cut and scarred up as if she had been in a wooded area," Yell County Sheriff Bill Gilkey told the Southwest Times Record newspaper of Fort Smith.

Gilkey says officials weren't sure whether Brooke Floyd was a suspect or a victim.

Tuesday's search was concentrated along a U.S. Forest Service road south of the lake, the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette reported on its website.
