Funeral To Be Held Saturday For Slain Arkansas Real Estate Agent

Funeral services have been set for an Arkansas real estate agent who was found dead five days after she never returned from an appointment to show a house.

Crye-Leike Realtors says the funeral for Beverly Carter will be held Saturday morning at First Pentecostal Church in North Little Rock.

The real estate company says Carter was the firm's top listing agent and that she had "an infectious laugh that brightened the whole office."

Crye-Leike says visitation for Carter will be held from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Friday at the church.

Police found Carter's body buried in a shallow grave early Tuesday near Cabot. A parolee, 33-year-old Arron Michael Lewis, has been jailed in connection with Carter's death.
