Authorities say a passenger in a sport utility vehicle was killed when it rear-ended a school bus in Huntsville.

State police say the wreck happened Monday morning on U.S. 412 in Madison County. Authorities tell Fort Smith television station KHBS that two others in the SUV were injured in the collision.

Police say there were about 30 students on the school bus at the time of the crash. They were picked up by another bus and taken to school.

Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
