Arts Scene: Artist Bryan Frazier/Thea Foundation's Amanda Seevers

The Thea Foundation has been uplifting young artists in the Natural State for nearly 20 years.

Now, the foundation is giving the (slightly) older generations a chance to show off what they've got.

Thea's Art Department exhibition series kicks off Feb. 7 at its gallery space in North Little Rock's Argenta neighborhood.

The works of Little Rock-based artist Bryan Frazier have the unique honor of being the first exhibition featured. Frazier's exhibit, titled "Battlefields," reflects his ongoing artistic pursuit of the perfect composition.

Frazier joined Arts Scene along with Thea's Amanda Seevers to talk about the foundation's ongoing efforts to elevate the arts in Arkansas.

"Battlefields" runs at the Thea Foundation space until Feb. 28.
