A new story co-published by The Arkansas Times and ProPublica looks into a small private school in Jonesboro that was barred from receiving state funds after the former owner was convicted of 11 counts of child abuse for incidents that occurred at the school. Two days later, state officials allowed the school to receive Education Freedom Account funding yet again.
Little Rock Public Radio spoke with the Arkansas Times’ Milo Strain, who partnered with ProPublica reporters on the story.
