Celebrate the culmination of our 40th Anniversary with the Annual Meeting of the Friends of KLRE/KUAR on Tuesday, Nov. 12 from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. We will meet at the new headquarters of Southwest Power Pool, 201 Worthen Drive in Little Rock. We'll begin with a social hour at 5:30, including hors d'oeuvres from The Pantry and drinks from O'Looney's Wine and Liquor, and a chance to visit with KLRE/KUAR staff and members of the Friends Board. A brief business meeting will follow with election of new board members, recognition of this year's recipient of the Beverly Lacefield Award for outstanding service to public radio, and a brief review of the year's activities.
