Arkansas Moments @ 10

This summer marks the tenth anniversary of Arkansas Moments. The radio slots are based on the award-winning research of John Kirk. Kirk has taught, researched and published on civil rights history for the past 30 years. He has produced nine books, five of which look at the civil rights movement in Arkansas, and four that focus on the movement’s national dimensions. In addition, he had published numerous articles and essays in academic journals, and in newspapers and magazines, as well as delivering over 100 international conference papers. Kirk was a faculty member at the University of Wales and the University of London in the United Kingdom before moving to UA Little Rock in the summer of 2010.
