Community Development Minute: The First-Time Home Buyer Program

Did you know there is a First Time Home Buyer program that can help you build a new home or renovate an existing one? The First Time Home Buyer program is financed through the City of Little Rock with funding from the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) which supports the development of communities and home ownership.

Community development organizations like the UDDC can use this program to support eligible first-time buyers in their districts. A development corporation can help homeowners in the process by purchasing a new or recently renovated home within its boundaries. The UDDC has helped first-time homebuyers in its neighborhood around UA Little Rock with this program.

You can find more info about the First Time Home Buyer program at uddclittlerock.org.
