This panel discussion was recorded live Thursday, Aug. 22, 2019 at the Dee Brown Library in Little Rock. Panelists include Central High senior Ricardo Gomez, 2019 Arkansas Teacher of the Year Stacey McAdoo, UCA Chair and Associate Professor of Education Michael Mills, Education and Policy Director at Arkansas Advocates for Children and Families Ginny Blankenship, and CEO of eSTEM Public Charter Schools John Bacon.
The discussion covered ways teachers and administrators can ensure equity in discipline and instruction, and how parents and the community can change policy among other topics.
