Arkansas Humanities Council's Next Gen(eration) Humanities Conference

Arkansas Humanities Council's Next Gen(eration) Humanities Conference

The Next Gen(eration) Humanities Conference is the newest event for Young Professionals under-35. The will event bring together the industry's future leaders to enjoy a program of carefully curated topics, speakers, thought-provoking discussion and inspiring stories. The conference enables ample opportunities for Young Professionals to grow their network, catch up with peers and make new and lasting connections.

During this four day program centered around the main theme, ‘Bridging the gap from education to career,’ we’ll introduce experts from the industry and beyond to present topics, workshops for K-12 teachers, grant workshops, higher ed panels, museum tours, a keynote presentation by a working young professional, students awards, job fair, and many more opportunities for connections.

The conference mission is 'Next Gen,' but it will take the village to make it happen. A call for session proposals, panels, presentations, and student research will be made in the summer of 2023. Expo booths for the career fair and networking booths will be made in the fall of 2023.

If you would like more information or would like to find out ways to be involved contact Conference Co-Chair, Jamie Middleton.
