The Arkansas Arts Council will honor the 2026 Arkansas Living Treasure, fiddler Tim Trawick, during a reception and event 5-8 p.m. Nov. 20 at Historic Arkansas Museum in Little Rock. Look for a night of live music, food and laughter!

Tim Trawick, of Greenbrier, is being honored for his community spirit and mastery of old-time fiddle playing. Friends, family and students will join Trawick on stage and throughout the museum for a special night of music!

The reception for Trawick will celebrate the artist and his craft (old-time fiddle) with an art talk, special speakers, music showcase, public jam session, and food. The public is welcome to bring instruments and join jam sessions. Come sing or play with us! The Ottenheimer Theater will be playing live music by Trawick and friends simultaneously! Performers include musicians Tim Trawick, Steve Trawick, Cindy Trawick Ellis, Aaron Farris, Bill Nesbitt and Gwyneth and Lottie Davis.

This free, family-friendly event is a call back to a time when neighbors gathered on porches to play together and friends and families took center stage.
