The ARTx3 Campus will host an opening reception and awards ceremony for the “2025 Irene Rosenzweig Biennial Juried Exhibition” from 5-7 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 18, at The Arts & Science Center for Southeast Arkansas, 701 S. Main St. The event is free and open to the public.
The prestigious show — funded by an endowment from the notable Pine Bluff resident — is an opportunity for established and up-and-coming artists to gain recognition and earn prizes, and for The Arts & Science Center to grow its Permanent Collection. The exhibition is open to artists in Arkansas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Oklahoma, Tennessee and Texas. The artists selected for the 2025 show will be announced in mid-August. The prizes awarded are best in show, first place, second place and three merit awards. Purchase awards totalling $2,000 are also available.
The exhibition will be on view in the International Paper Gallery from Sept. 18 to Jan. 24, 2026. Gallery hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturdays.
“The Irene Rosenzweig Biennial Juried Exhibition” is supported in part by The Arts & Science Center Endowment Fund and the Irene Rosenzweig Endowment Fund. For more information, contact Shakeelah Rahmaan, interim curator and programs director, at srahmaan@artx3.org or call 870-536-3375.
