Several hundred protestors march across the Broadway Bridge in Little Rock on Labor Day, 2025.

A few hundred protestors lined the Broadway Bridge on Labor Day, voicing opposition to the Trump administration.

The protest, labeled ‘Workers Over Billionaires,’ was organized by groups 50501 and the People’s Marches of Arkansas, the same groups that put together the 'No Kings' protest and others throughout this year.

The march was part of a nationwide day of protests tied to the Labor Day holiday, and began with a brief program that included a handful of speakers including retired Judge Wendell Griffen.

Griffen spoke against the erosion of worker’s rights, privatization of schools and prison systems, and President Trump’s moves to deploy National Guard troops to U-S cities.

"He is wanting actually to command the military to invade us. I swore an oath to go anywhere the country would send me and offer my life to protect this country, but I did not intend to invade Los Angeles. I did not intend to invade Little Rock. I did not intend to invade Washing D.C. I ain't got nothing against the folks in Chicago.”

Following the speakers, protestors marched onto the Broadway Bridge, where they chanted and held signs.

Several drivers honked their horns as they passed across the bridge.

The event lasted around two hours.
