Amir Mahmoud
Rural Issues ReporterAmir Mahmoud is the rural issues reporter for Little Rock Public Radio, a position funded through a grant from the Corporation for Public Broadcasting.
His first foray into journalism was with the University of Miami’s student newspaper, the Miami Hurricane. After attending the University of Miami, he worked for the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette -- first as a copy editor and designer, then as a full-time reporter.
When he isn’t working, Amir enjoys many things. This may or may not include the Philadelphia sports teams he supports.
