Kia Pennington
News InternKia Pennington is a news intern at Little Rock Public Radio.
She holds a B.A. in Theatre arts from UA Little Rock and is currently pursuing a M.A. in Mass Communication. She is a working actor and and gained an appreciation for the creative arts and storytelling in her childhood, growing up on old and modern media alike. Kia’s journalistic aspirations developed watching morning and evening news with her grandmother. She became fascinated with the storytelling of news broadcasting and the dedication it takes to accurately and fairly report a story. Her hobbies include reading, writing, and fangirling over all things pop culture.
