Come celebrate the Arkansas creatives making a difference statewide! The Arkansas Arts Council will recognize 18 creatives in six different categories during a special celebration 5-8 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 3, at Mosaic Templars Cultural Center.

The event is free and will include art exhibitions, live music, a documentary showcase, and literary readings from creatives who were chosen as this year's Individual Artist Fellows. Refreshments and food will be served. Events happen simultaneously at 5 p.m. with art talks from each creative starting at 6 p.m.

The Fellowship program annually recognizes up to 18 creatives in six rotating categories with $5,000 awards. Independent panels chose recipients based on technique, mastery, creativity, innovation and more. The program is meant to support individual artists who are living and working in Arkansas.
