Puzzling Adventures are a cross between a scavenger hunt, an adventure race, and an informative self-guided walking tour. Each adventure consists of a series of locations that you are guided to where you are required to answer a question or solve a puzzle to receive your next instruction. Compete as a group, individually or create multiple teams and race each other. Almost all of our adventures are designed to be wheelchair and stroller friendly and all are carefully crafted to be entertaining and informative with something to appeal to all ages. Art Start is an early reader program that pairs children’s books with art activities, inviting toddlers and preschool students to learn through reading, imaginative play, and art-making.

This free program welcomes parents, grandparents, caregivers, and our youngest patrons to drop in and explore with us – no reservations required!

We’re mashing together the perfect party, and you’re invited! Judy the chimpanzee is turning 55, and we’re throwing a Spud-tacular party in her honor!

Judy’s favorite food is a potato, so we’re going all-in on the theme. Stop by the chimpanzee exhibit at 10 AM May 3 to watch Judy and her troop enjoy some apeeling potato enrichment.

We'll have potato chips and Hiland Punch (while supplies last) for both kids and grownups.
