Delta Upcycling Challenge Project Showcase
The public is invited to The ARTx3 Campus’s Delta Upcycling Challenge (D.U.C.) showcase, featuring two competitions: the Upcycled Mini-Sculpture for grades 9-12 and the Upcycled Fashion Show for students enrolled in higher learning. This event is from 1-3 p.m. Saturday, April 13, at The Arts & Science Center, 701 S. Main St in Pine Bluff. This event is free.
The fashion show will begin at 2 p.m. Trophies and monetary prizes will be awarded at 2:45 p.m.
The D.U.C. is a regional initiative to bring awareness to the impact that humans have on the environment, tactics to minimize that impact, and share through artistic expression how communities can collaborate to create a beautiful tomorrow. The competition was open to students in Arkansas, Ashley, Bradley, Chicot, Cleveland, Desha, Drew, Grant, Jefferson, Lee, Lincoln, Monroe, Phillips, and Prairie counties.
