Figure Drawing Class Featuring Drag Queen Model to Take Place at Art Ventures

FAYETTEVILLE, AR: On May 26th, 2023 beginning at 5:00 pm, Art Ventures will host an extraordinary figure drawing class featuring a Drag Queen model. The course is three hours long and will allow attendees to hone their drawing skills while capturing the unique and dynamic presence of a Drag Queen.

 
"We're thrilled to offer this unique figure drawing class featuring Tim Sisouvong as our Drag Queen model," said Art Ventures Gallery Curatorial Associate, Mason Holocomb. "This is a wonderful opportunity for artists of all skill levels to push their boundaries and explore new creative avenues. Plus, the resulting artwork will be showcased in our upcoming Pride Exhibition, which is sure to be a highlight of the summer."

Limited space is available, so those interested in attending are encouraged to register early to secure their spot. The class costs $20 per person, and all materials will be provided.

The drawings created in this class will be part of the upcoming Pride Exhibition called OUTrageous, held at Art Ventures in June. The exhibition challenges stereotypes surrounding queer art while celebrating the beauty and strength of the LGBTQ+ community!
