A sweet tradition returns to benefit Arkansas foster children: The 2025 Gingerbread Extravaganza invites Arkansans to exhibit decorated gingerbread houses in a friendly competition to win prizes. Photos with Santa, the Celebrity Tour of Homes and the display of winning entries of the Holiday Coloring Contest will round out the event. Pre-assembled, baked and ready-to-decorate gingerbread kits can be purchased by Dec. 5 from the host organization, Treatment Homes.

The Conway Men’s Chorus will present its annual Christmas Concert at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 16 (2025) at Reynolds Performance Hall on the University of Central Arkansas campus in Conway. Admission and parking is FREE and doors open at 6:30. This approximate hour long concert will feature a wide variety of new and favorite selections of choral music of the holiday season as well as their annual audience sing-along of favorite Christmas carols. The 60-plus member Chorus is composed of men of all ages, all musical abilities, and who simply love to sing. The concert is presented as the Chorus’ gift of music to the community. The Little Rock Winds presents its annual Flag Day salute to the Red, White, and Blue with this old-fashioned concert in the park, featuring hand-clapping marches, toe-tapping show tunes, and flag-waving patriotic songs.
