Join Stained-Glass expert Susan Nolte for a fun, hands-on class where participants will learn the basics of how to create stained glass. Explore foiling techniques, how to cut glass, and learn how to solder, all while working with a variety of textured and colored glass. There are FOUR classes to choose from, all on different days and at varying times, and all classes are best suited for all skill levels. Costs very per class; all materials are provided.

Celebrating its 25th Anniversary year, the Conway Men’s Chorus will present its 2023 Christmas Holiday Concert on Tuesday, December 5 at 7:00 p.m at Reynolds Performance Hall on the campus of the University of Central Arkansas in Conway. The Conway Men’s Chorus will present a wide variety of Christmas and seasonal selections from sacred to traditional to popular plus the annual audience sing-along of favorite Christmas carols. Songs to be included are: "I'll Be Home for Christmas", "In the Bleak Midwinter", "It's the Most Wonderful Time of the Year", "Mary Did You Know?", "Sleigh Ride", “Mele Kalikimaka”, and "O Holy Night" among several others. Joining the 65+ men of the Men’s Chorus on stage will be special guest performers – the Conway Women's Chorus – who will perform several of their Christmas concert songs as well as sing with the Men's Chorus on three songs. Doors open at 6:30 with free admission and free parking.

In four segments — Preparation and Announcement, Birth, Story, and Proclamation — the singers will explore the Christmas event with music from Medieval times to the present. There will be segments from Handel's Messiah, carols from different lands, spirituals, traditional and novel Christmas songs, and, as a finale, the energetic Betelehemu. Dr. Cliff Ganus will be the guest conductor for this concert. Dr. Ganus retired from Harding University in 2020 as a Distinguished Professor of Music and former chair of the department after 52 years of teaching at that institution. A life member of the American Choral Directors Association, he served ACDA as a regional committee chair and president of the Arkansas chapter and president of the Arkansas Music Educators Association. These performances are underwritten, in part, by the Arkansas Arts Council, an agency of the Department of Arkansas Heritage, and the National Endowment for the Arts and are free and open to the public. The Redfield Christmas Market will hold its fourth annual event on December 9 in Redfield, Arkansas. Come see and shop 50+ LOCAL vendors from central Arkansas. Roger Scott is the emcee. Vendors will be selling their (mostly homemade) wares from woodwork, smokes meats, home décor, Christmas items, quilt and crafts, you name it! Local nonprofits and food trucks will be there too with the food proceeds helping the local American Legion. Usually about 3,000 come out, rain or shine!

Free Drive-thru Live Nativity with 8 scenes featuring live animals from Cockrill’s Country Critters. Actors reenact the events leading up to the birth of Christ. Christmas music, fire pits, torches and lights add to the joyous atmosphere. Our therapy dogs are there to hand out candy and Thank you for visiting.
