Join us for a FREE, family-friendly evening combining culture, rhythm, and southern charm at the Argenta Vibe Music Series—proudly presented in partnership with the ACANSA Arts Festival of the South! In honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, we’re excited to bring you TWO incredible performances this month by Pura Coco and Larry & Joe!

Pura Coco is an alternative R&B and soul artist who blends the grit and soul of her NYC upbringing with the warmth and rhythm of her Southern influence. She’ll perform backed by her full band and DJ Raquel. But before she takes the stage you’ll get to hear from Larry & Joe, the Grammy-nominated “latingrass” duo. Both men are versatile multi-instrumentalists and singer-songwriters on a mission to show that music has no borders. As a duo they perform a fusion of Venezuelan and Appalachian folk music on harp, banjo, cuatro, fiddle, maracas, guitar, upright bass, and whatever else they decide to throw in the van.

Featuring Shunqetta Cunningham, CEO and lead grant strategist and nonprofit facilitator of KHARIS Group, and Brazier Watts, acting director of the Arkansas Arts Council, this hands-on workshop and high-impact discussion will equip you with real-world tools to start, grow and sustain your organization's success. Complimentary lunch will be provided.

This is a must-attend event for nonprofits, business owners, government officials and community leaders who are looking to launch a nonprofit or enhance art programs.

Join us for the season-closing free concert featuring Arkansauce in their highly anticipated 4th annual appearance at Argenta Vibe Music Series.

Arkansauce, the Ozark-born progressive string quartet, masterfully blends newgrass, folk, country, blues, and funk for a breathtaking, foot-stomping experience. Known for their energetic live shows and genre-defying setlists, they've become a beloved Argenta staple—don't miss their explosive finale performance!

Dogtown Throwdown, a vibrant two-day street festival, will close out the season on Friday, October 10, and Saturday, October 11. Main Street in Argenta will be closed from Broadway to 5th St. starting at 4 pm Friday to 10 pm Saturday. The event will be full of family activities, live music and delicious food from all your favorite local restaurants.

Let the good times roll! This year’s Gala for Good will be held on October 11th at the Statehouse Convention Center. We will celebrate the spirit of Goodwill but with a New Orleans twist. This special event will showcase the fantastic achievements of our program participants, graduates, and community partners.

We invite you to join us for the Gala for Good and make a lasting impact on our community. With your support, you will help to further Goodwill’s mission of providing individuals with the opportunity to lead independent, successful, and productive lives. Your participation will make a difference not only in the lives of those we serve but also in the lives of those in our community.

The evening will begin with a delightful dinner, including signature cocktails, beer, and wine. After the awards ceremony, The Bayou Royals will perform, flying in from The Big Easy for a bit of lagniappe. Additionally, there will be a silent auction, with all proceeds supporting Goodwill’s mission. Cocktail attire is suggested.
