The Argenta Vibe Music Series returns to Argenta Green on Saturday, September 19, for an evening of live music, art, and community in partnership with ACANSA Arts Festival. While construction continues at Argenta Plaza, we’re making the most of it with another concert in the open green space just across the street. Pack your lawn chairs, enjoy the extra room to spread out, and experience another unforgettable night of live music in Argenta. RSVP and invite friends on Facebook!

The festivities begin at 4 pm with ACANSA Family Arts Day, featuring free, hands-on art activities and creative experiences for children and families. Family Arts Day continues through 7 PM, offering the perfect opportunity to spend the afternoon exploring downtown Argenta before the evening concert.

Live music begins at 6:30 pm with Little Rock singer-songwriter Amy Garland, followed by Bella Rayne Band, one of the fastest-rising young acts in Americana music. Led by guitarist, vocalist, and songwriter Bella Rayne, the band blends Southern rock, blues, Americana, and jam-band influences into an energetic live show that has captivated audiences across the country.

It's astounding. Time is fleeting. Madness takes its toll.

Get ready for another outrageous night with The Rocky Horror Picture Show at Ron Robinson Theater!

Dress up, bring your props, bring your friends, and get ready to participate as this legendary cult classic takes over the big screen. Our interactive experience begins at 7:30 p.m. before the film, so come ready to shout, sing, laugh, and become part of the show.

Whether you're a Rocky Horror veteran or a first-time Time Warp-er, there's no better way to experience this movie than with a packed theater full of fellow fans.

Film Start Time: Doors open at 7:00pm, and “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” will begin promptly at 8:00pm. As our films are general admission seating, please be sure to arrive early to secure your seat. Admission is $8. Prop bags (with everything you need to participate!) will also be available for $10. NO OUTSIDE PROPS ALLOWED. Beer, wine, and concessions will be available.

Free Parking: We’re pleased to offer complimentary parking for all attendees. Simply bring your parking ticket from the library parking lot (across from the Main Library on Rock Street) or the parking deck (next to the Main Library on Rock Street) inside the theater, and our friendly box office staff will validate it for you. Our DJs blend house, techno, bass, festival anthems, and original remixes with quick transitions and back-to-back drops—so the energy never lets up.

Expect a mix of songs you know and love alongside today's biggest dance tracks, all seamlessly woven together to keep the dance floor moving all night.

No slow songs. No awkward downtime. Just a packed dance floor, huge singalongs, massive drops, lasers, and a crowd that's there to rave.

Inspired by the likes of: FISHER, Chris Lake, Dom Dolla, John Summit, Matroda, James Hype, Subtronics, Skrillex, Martin Garrix, David Guetta, and Tiësto.

Artist INC Express helps artists, of any discipline or genre, develop the building blocks for a thriving and enduring arts practice. From traditional craft to modern art and music, we have the learning experience you need to succeed in your artistic practice and career.

Led by a team of experienced, working artists, this hands-on workshop helps artists like you address specific needs and challenges that you’ll face throughout your career. Through discussions, activities, and hands-on exercises, your artist-facilitators, and your new network of peer artists, will help you set goals for your practice, write about your work, and build a personal brand.

Artist INC Express is a slimmed down, yet still highly active, version of the popular eight-week Artist INC program, which has been completed by more than 2,000 artists since 2009. Artist INC Express explores those same core concepts of how to build a lasting arts practice in a shorter, more flexible format, to help reach a broader audience of artists.

If you sign on for Artist INC Express, you are asked to commit to the entire workshop, as exercises build on one another and participants develop deep relationships with their fellow artists over the sessions. Be ready to participate throughout in group discussions, hands-on exercises, and small group work.
And just know, it’s not over when it’s over. Right away, Artist INC Express activates a network of artists in your community, leading to more peer-to-peer resource sharing, collaborations, and support long after the workshop concludes.

ARTIST PEER FACILITATORS

All Artist INC Express workshops are facilitated by a team of experienced, working artists.

Playwright/performer Pat Hazell - a Tonight Show veteran, original writer for NBC’s Seinfeld, and voted one of the five funniest people in America by Showtime TV - has cooked up The Wonder Bread Years, a salute to cultural Americana. Kneading theatrical storytelling together with stand-up comedy, this fast-paced romp through childhood nostalgia puts a sense of awe and wonder in the bag.

Come From Away is based on the true story of Gander, Newfoundland, a small town that welcomed thousands of stranded travelers after 38 planes were diverted there on September 11, 2001. Amid culture clashes and language barriers, the people of Gander opened their homes and hearts, proving that kindness can bring us together.
Now, experience Come From Away like never before at Actors Theatre of Little Rock. This immersive production puts you in the middle of the action, surrounding you with the music, energy, and community of Gander.

Join Be Mighty and the Ron Robinson Theater for "Dinner and a Movie" this September in honor of Hunger Action Month. In Arkansas, hunger affects families in every corner of the state, with nearly 1 in 5 Arkansans experiencing food insecurity and many children relying on school and community meal programs throughout the year. Hunger Action Month is an opportunity for communities to come together to raise awareness, share resources, and celebrate the power of food to bring people together.

In this special movie series, we are serving up a delicious twist. Each movie in the series is paired with a recipe featured on screen, bringing a little movie magic from the theater straight to your kitchen. The first twenty-five movie goers (one recipe kit per household) will receive a free recipe kit complete with all the ingredients needed to recreate the film-inspired meal at home. So grab some popcorn, enjoy a great movie, and leave with everything you need to bring a piece of the story home to share.
