Witt Stephens Jr. Central AR Nature Center
Every week through May 11, 2024.
Saturday: 10:00 AM - 11:00 AM
These FREE introductory nature courses are for all who wish to learn more about the Natural State wildlife around them and why conservation of all of nature's creatures is so important. Participants will get to engage with all the exhibits and critters at the Witt Stephens Jr. Central AR Nature Center and hear from the experts with the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission. Bring the whole family, and come to learn about different topics across different Saturdays: bugs, birds, plants, and mammals, and on the last Saturday in the series, make Backyard Habitats for the wildlife you've learned all about - a make-and-take bird feeder and a painted toad-abode!
If the weather is nice, students may partake in outdoor activities, so wear APPROPRIATE CLOTHES and COMFORTABLE SHOES.
The classes are free, but availability is limited, so please STILL REGISTER.
